Holds/Perms tab

Operations Gate Equipment Delivery Orders Equipment Delivery Orders view EDO Inspector Holds/Perms tab

The Holds/Perms tab displays the holds/permissions for the selected EDO. You can add/release holds and grant/cancel permissions for the selected order on this tab. When you edit a hold/permission, if you have not selected a hold or permission or if the status of the selected permission is Required, N4 disables the (Edit) button. For more information, see Update Hold/Permission form (Edit mode) (on page 1).

In addition, you can use the following Actions menu options to:

• Show Details (on page 1): View the details of the selected hold/permission and the list of events affected by it.

You can also double-click a hold/permission to view the details and the list of events affected by it.

• Grant Permission (on page 1): Grant the selected permission.

You can only grant REQUIRED permissions.

• Release Hold (on page 1): Release the selected hold.

You can only release ACTIVE holds.

• Cancel Permission (on page 1): Cancel the selected permission.

You can only cancel GRANTED permissions.

The Holds/Perms tab also displays the prerequisite events associated with the selected entity. A prerequisite event has the PRE_REQUISITE status. Use the Actions Show Details option to view the details (on page 1) of the prerequisite event and the list of events affected by it.

You must record the prerequisite service event for the selected entity before you can record the service events listed on the Affected Event Types tab (on page 1).

To record a prerequisite service event for the selected EDO, on the Event History tab (on page 1), click .
